This simulation is only if you really like planes. Really really like planes.

Yeah I dished out like $50 for this or something like that before realizing this is a simulation, not a game. That's pretty obvious if you look at the front of the box for 2 seconds, but I somehow managed to not notice that.
Not to say this sim isn't bad... there are plenty of planes to keep you busy from giant passenger planes to the tiny, wimpy Wright Brothers Plane. You can fly across the whole planet with no loading screens, which is insane, but the textures and trees and stuff look horrendous at ground level. You're not going to spend much time on ground level anyway, though : ) Yeah, there's storms and nighttime and stuff as well as other planes in the sky and you can set up flights and missions and stuff yourself.
K&M isn't adequate for this sim, you'll need at least a joystick to play it. The planes react realistically to your actions, which is pretty cool, but I personally am not a fan of keeping a plane flying straight in the sky for three hours as I go from Chicago to New York and I know there are alot of others out there with the same preference, so know what you're getting before you buy this. This is great as a simulation, but doesn't offer much fun for anyone else.
