The original Metroid - now portable!!

I think what nintendo is doing is a great idea. They arent improving the old versions, they are just making them available now to people that might of never had a NES before or for people who no longer have a NES. The graphics are just like back in the day and its a great way to play the classics.

You are Samus, the universe's greatest Bounty Hunter. You are out to find and destroy the space pirates before they release the Metroids into the universe as weapons. You start out with only your basic arm canon but as you progress through the game you find weapon and suit upgrades. Soon your an unstoppable killing machine with Missles, bombs and long range Wave Beams.

Basically this is for anyone who never played the original and wants to give it a try or anyone feeling nostalgic and wants to give an old school classic a try. Even if you have the NES version, I would pick this up because you can play it on your GBA as well as on your GC if you have the Gameboy Player.

    Skip this and buy Metroid: Zero Mission instead.
