A whole lot better than Fusion in every department and an overall good game.

Story: 7 The first story sucked and so does the remake's but at least there's more of it (but still not a lot)

Graphics: 9 A very big improvement from Fusions graphics I didn't see anyhting horrible and the only reason the looks didn't get a 10 is the animations sometimes skip some of Samus' steps.

Sound: 10 Like every other Metroid soundtrack I loved every sound and the creatures don't make me want to kill myself (yay!).

Controls: 10 Best control scheme for a side scroller ever. Period.

Entertainment: 8 Like Fusion it is fun the first time around but the thrills are shortened and if you get stuck you're screwed because you get no help (besides your destination being pointed out on the map)

Overall: 8.8 This game is a thrill ride from beginning to end and is possibly the best side-scroller ever.
