Solid remake.

Good

- the gameplay and visuals are of coursed upgraded, but they also look amazing for GBA hardware. And the controls are crisp and smooth.

- They added new upgrades that are in line with current Metroid games, which is nice.

- The story is expanded. You get a little stealth mission at the end, which is nice.

- the added map and hints on which area to go was nice. I never felt lost.

Bad

- the fake lava was confusing. Never did I think to check if it was fake to access a new area, and I shouldn't have to. I wasn't going to take damage just to check every patch of lava. And having enemies in there didn't mean it wasn't hazardous cause there were enemies that could be in lava.

- Ridley was too easy.
