Ive played Metroid Prime 1 and 2. I beat them both but Metroid Prime 2 posed a challenge. So many sections and secrets to visit. When I got to the Emperor Ing, I had to look up a walkthrough so I can go back and get all of the Energy Tanks, Missile Expansions and Beam Expansions. This game had me frustrated so much and it had the dreaded water level. I didn't like losing all of my items in the beginning but the new equipment was worth it! I didn't really enjoy having to be conservative about my Dark, Light and Annihilator beam. The boss fights are just... amazingly difficult. Quadraxis and Morph ball guardian. I thought that I had finally killed Dark Samus in this game since the whole dark side of Aether exploded. Apparently he or she appears IN NUMBER 3. Okay back on subject, all of the visuals are beautiful. Some enemies are really annoying to fight in order to get through a location. I had to use the Boost upgrade for the morph ball to dash through the enemies not worth fighting since they respawn. The Pirate fights are amazing but gets annoying since they get into your way a lot, blocking the exit making you have to kill them. The dark boss fights are hard but accepting. Especially the second boss. That flying butterfly thing. Even though I beat it in one try, It took away all of my energy tanks. Leaving me with a strip of HP left. The Scanning is back and now theres a way to tell the percentage of scans that you have. I ended with 97%. Some boss fights didn't give me enough time to scan them. I scanned Quadraxis and he had a ton of hidden scans. Got them all. I recommended this game to a fan of the Metroid Series or wants to become a fan. But they are better of to start with Metroid Prime. 10/10
