Not as better as its last one but still good.

The game's story is almost the same ingredients as the last story, Samus Aran gets a distress signal from someone and now has to save or destroy them and then something haywire happens and she looses all her stuff but she still kept her Varia suit, morph ball and charge beam. Now Samus has to face against creatures called the Ing, Space Pirates, and a loathsome doppelganger who uses Phazon as her power. This game takes place on two planets: Aether and Dark Aether. The game may not be as great as the last one for it doesn't have the dark feel in most environments and the music that plays when you battle a darkling gets annoying but the game itself is great. The items are better than the last games though, this time, they have the screw attack, the echo visor, and major suit upgrades which really just make you more immune to the air of Dark Aether. So if you like Metroid Prime, just get Metroid Prime 2, it may not be better, but it is still a great game.
