An all awe inspiring game with little to fault but it can't beat good old Metroid Prime 1!

User Rating: 9.5 | Metroid Prime 2: Echoes GC
This is a fantastic game by any extent with supreme graphics that could even rival a 360 game and very clever music that suits the game to a level beyond perfect. Despite the games difficulty not completeing the game still makes you feel you got you're moneys worth.

The graphics are as I said awe inspiring and can be barely faulted but when it comes to multiplayer the graphics of Samus Aran herself and you're gun are appauling so one player is were you get top notch quality. The feel is almost retro like Metroid Prime 1 but not so retro in the sense you can clearly see the grphics colour is made up of many squares giving a pixelated effect but put together so well. The graphics are not very realistic but are very simillar to Super Metroid on the SNES being good but ultimately you know you're playing a game.

The music is quite Si Fi but theve toned down and added a guituare which improves some music but as a whole Metroid Prime 1 pips it to the post. Sound effects go well with the music so not to oversound it yet remain to be heard.

The story is involving and its just one of those games like many extremely good first persons that sometimes you forget you're playing on a console, you believe its real life at moments as you get so involved in the fantastic series. The Ing and local inhabitants of the plannet Anther are the main focus but the space pirates do return in this epic sequel to the best shooter of all time.

The multiplayer is basic but all the same realitivelly fun and unlocking extras through the one player mode is quite fun.

Weapons get many upgrades through the game and you unlock a couple of new suits and usefull tools so you never feel as if you're going nowhere.

All in all its hard to find a better game nowadays and only if you don't have Metroid Prime 1 you don't have a excuse to choose a nother game over this one.
