Best gamecube first person shooter to date. It succeeds perfectly in dealing with interactivity and fun. It's awesome.

User Rating: 9.9 | Metroid Prime 2: Echoes GC
Ever since Metroid Prime came out, I've been a metroid fan. I've beaten the game many times and thought to myself, there should be more games like this one and this meets up to my standards. Metroid Prime starts off as more of a distress call to a different world, rather than a different dimension and manifestation in Echoes. Echoes' gameplay is basically the same as Prime 1. If you played Prime, you've played prime 2. But that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Metroid was given many compliments BECAUSE of its magnificent gameplay and this revives it. Prime 2 though is much much more difficault than the first and it only gets harder. Once I played and started seeing dark dead things swarming at me coming from all different directions, I didn't know what to do. Those Ing things kept coming at me from different points of the area from those warpholes. It was hard and the federation zombies were just scary. This is definitely the darkest of all Metroid games. But what really makes this a good game is that it's totally unique and most games haven't done something like this. It is sooo much of an improvement from Prime 1. It gives people the sense that Gamecube isn't all that people stereotyped it to be. It's worth the 100 bucks and this game is definitely worth the 50.
