great game, but not as good as other metroid games

I love how the makers of ninja gaiden made other m. Extra combat and melee moves are added and there is some difficulty in the game. Other great moves added are the speed booster, shinespark, and screw attack. The plot is also great, except for the parts where samus acts like an emo. The only flaws of this game is the objectives pointed out on the map, ruining the exploration of the game, and that the game is shorter than metroid prime games. The boss battles are epic, like Nightmare, Vorash, Metroid Queen, and Phantoon. Also, the sequence of the game isn't predictable, like how some boss battles appear unexpectedly. This game also takes in classic metroid characteristics such as beams being combined into one beam, the metroid prime like environments (forest, icelands, and magma are), and the classic boss fights with Ridley, Metroid Queen and Phantoon.
