I just need to set the record strait. I keep seeing people all over the interwebs having existential crises about Samus' character in this game.

Yoshio Sakamoto (yeah, you know the guy that made all those other Metroid games?) is the one who made the scenario for this game. In some capacity he actually directed the entire thing, and he probably had the story down before he ever even approached Team Ninja.

So I'm just going to put this simply: if you don't like Samus' portrayal in this game, then I guess you just don't like Samus. I personally love all the cut scenes so far. Anyway, before anyone else starts whining again about Team Ninja screwing up Samus' character, just click that orange button in the top left corner that says "More info," go to the full game details, and read the name of the first person credited.
