Completely immersive game that mixes elements of survival horror and shooter action. Its not perfect but its unique.
The story is based in a Russian best seller book and the characters you meet in the game are very interesting. You can buy and upgrade futuristic weapons through the campaign. Ammo is a quite difficult to find and are different kinds you can use in combination with your weapons to kill different enemies.
The game has some problems like the enemy AI sometimes acts in a very dumb way. The stealth doesn't work in most parts. In the consoles there is a constant texture pop-up and this take a while to load.
In 2013 is coming the new game Metro Last Night and it is a direct sequel to this game. If you like pos apocalyptic games you will enjoy it! If you want to play a different kind of shooter with a good history this game is for you. Thank you!
