Two great games, but really just two arcade emulators on a PS2 disc.
This disc emulates them on PS2, almost exactly. No graphic updates, no nothing.
I would not spend a lot of money on this. It really is just two arcade emulators on a PS2 disc.
With infinite (and free) credits, you will beat each of these two games in 15 minutes if you are unable to control yourself. In that respect, this game is hardly worth the price. You might as well just take $20 to an arcade and get the genuine experience.
The creation of this game obviously took little effort, and it is not worth the price tag.
If you've never played Metal Slug 4 or Metal Slug 5... go out hunting for arcades that have them. I know they arcades are getting rarer in the US, so maybe this is a good way of keeping these classic games in circulation. Maybe try fishing this one out of a bargain bin for $3 some day. I really just wish they had put forth a little extra in assembling this package... they could have included many more Metal Slug games or many arcade games in general.
