Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is truly an amazing remake to one of the best games on the PS One. A truly breathtaking story-line and voice acting, great graphics and good game-play. The best thing about this game is that it brings back great memories from the classic old MGS with improved graphics and so on. Even if you've played MGS before and know all the twists coming up, MGS: The Twin Snakes still gives a great feeling of excitement when you play. The cut scenes are so worth playing the game over and over to see. Watching Snake dodging bullets and doing cool somersaults on the screen is just amazing. With the technology back when Metal Gear Solid first came out, Snake could never do half the things he did in the re-make. That's why as a true Metal Gear Solid fan, I'm so glad they made this re-make. The old Metal Gear Solid is, and will still always be a classic, and Twin Snakes, is a re-make of a classic.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes does a brilliant job in keeping the same classic story with all the same memorable moments and characters, but with next generation graphics, outstanding animated cinematic sequences.
A nuclear weapons disposal facility on Shadow Moses Island in Alaska's Fox Archipelago was attacked and captured by Next Generation Special Forces led by members of FOXHOUND. The terrorists have got their hands on hundreds of nuclear warheads and they're demanding that the government turn over the remains of Big Boss, a hero that turned against the government and FOXHOUND after saving the world from a nuclear havoc back in the early 60 in the Metal Gear Solid timeline. They warn that if their demands are not met within 24 hours, they'll launch a nuclear weapon. After the incident with Zanzibar, where Snake put a stop to Big Boss and his planes, Snake gives up on war and retires from FOXHOUND leaving his old life behind. Snake was captured by FOXHOUND and was forced by an old friend, Commander Roy Campbell, former Commander of FOXHOUND to help them with a top-secret mission to deal with the greatest terrorist threat the world has ever seen, insinuating to Snake that he is the only one that can do it.
Snake is sent in unnoticed into Shadow Moses Island unarmed. His sneaking skills are his real weapon. Snake's mission is to first single-handedly infiltrate the nuclear weapons disposal site and rescue the two hostages, DARPA Chief Donald Anderson and the President of ArmsTech, Kenneth Baker, and then to eliminate the terrorists and prevent a nuclear launch. Once again, Snake is sent in… alone.

The Graphics in Metal Gear Solid are Awesome. Great next generation graphics with all-new breathtaking cut scenes. Not as awesome as MGS 2 and MGS 3, but pretty awesome nonetheless.

The new Game-Play in Metal Gear Solid is very good, pretty much a Metal Gear Solid 2 game-play clone. This time you can hang of ledges, somersault, and aim and look in first person view mode. But due to the Game-Cube controller, you may find it rather difficult in intense action scenes.

The Sound is the best thing about Metal Gear Solid. Truly amazing sound effect, but most importantly, amazing voice acting. Never have I played a game with such breathtaking and stunning voice acting.

Overall, Metal gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is and excellent remake that is sure to please fans of the series, or perhaps make fans pissed of due to it only being released on the GameCube.
