Nice graphics, solid game history, perfect sound.
So I started the first mission (Virtuous Mission) and I just go around the area to get familiarized with the controls and I saw how very well done is the environment where we move; you move the grass when you move through it, and I took a look to the valley we have behind and it is awsome, it looks like a real valley.
So, as I advanced in the game I realized this game is half movie, half game. And I think all MG's have this quality. What I like more about this quality is the option we have when we press R1 during a video sequence, we see what Snake is seeing, so this is one thing that makes this game so inmersive.
Now I would like to talk you about the weapons. Remember when I told you I did not like MGS because we begin without weapons. Well my opinion has changed since I played this game. So we begin using a Mk22 with non-lethal bullets, and that was ok for me, (worst is nothing) because if I couldn't kill a soldier, I could put him to sleep. But as I advanced in the game I unlocked a big number of weapons and my favorite was the Colt .45 and the M16. But there were so many weapons, since a torch to a RPG, a different weapon for every different situation.
As you know the most important thing in this game is the camouflage. It is amazing how we can go behind the enemy without being saw, even if they are in front of us. And the large list of camouflages we can find, unlock and download is what makes this game a challenge.
Well this is all my opinion about Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.
