Let's go back in time a bit with Snake

Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater goes back in time with Snake. Telling more of the backstory in the form of an amazing game. The game setting is in the jungle and military bases. But it's the jungle phases are what stand out to me. A lush, huge, beautiful environment makes for many tense moments as you work your way around enemy soldiers or take them out. Where the game really shines is the boss fights. As with every Metal Gear there are many, my favorite being the sniper/hide and seek mission with an old sniper named The End. It's a truly epic battle if done in stealth mode, sometimes taking up to 30 tense filled minutes. As the game moves on you learn more of the story, and get to pull out the guns a bit more leading to the epic ending with The Boss, that has to be the most beautiful scene to date on a PS2. Again I recommend playing 2-4 in a row, it's a very satsifying experience you won't soon forget.
