Snake is back, back again, Snake is back, tell a friend.
MGS 3 takes place dureing the 1960's and is set mostly in a jungle environment. The games is classic MGS where stealth is the main objective so you spend alot of time changing into different camo so that you can blend into your surroundings.
THe control scheme is basically the same as all the other MGS and could use some tweeking.
Not only do you have to change your camo through out the game but there is a new cure feature that allows you to dress your own woulnds. This really isn't an option as you have to do it in order to fully recover from damage.
You also have to spend some time "hunting" for food to keep your stamina bar full. Some animals you find in the woods replenish your stamina well while others of course do not.
The story line is excellant of course and as always the game turns out to be more of a movie that you play and watch. All those who have played the series and know the story line pretty well I've got two words for you, "Big Boss."
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a great game and most who have enjoyed the series thus far will love it. The only complaint I have is that sometimes you get some really bad camera angles and since you can't move in first person you're kind of stuck guessing if someone is around the corner.
The Word: This game is a must have not only for MGS fans but for any gamer who loves the action/adventure genre.
