This game is answer to the request of many Metal Gear Solid game-players like myself who want to see Raiden cut-in on the action of the Metal Gear Solid series. Ever since Metal Gear Solid 2: Son of Liberty, I have been waiting for the next Metal Gear title with Raiden as a protagonist. At first I was not certain that this title would be worth the sixty bucks, but this game met and exceeded my expectation, so I would say it was worth it (plus I love the concept of his primary weapon being a sword). I missed out of Metal Gear Solid 4 and Snake Eater, so I felt that I would be out of the loop in Metal Gear Rising, but the story line is comprehensive enough to fill you in on the important stuff without over burdening you with unless nonsense (unless you listen to all the codec conversations). Overall Metal Gear Rising gets a 9.5 out of 10 from me.
