Wow! This game rocks and the gameplay is just nuts!! I just finished the game and there is so much variety for a shooter I don't know where to start. It's the first game I've played since Halo that makes me want to keep playing just to see what happens next. The story and characters are engrossing, you get an excellent assortment of the usual shooter arsensal, upgradable from level 1 to level 3 capabilities, including Glitch's arm servo. Once you get your level 3 upgrades, then you're REALLY having some fun. In some sections, you will play as some characters that Glitch meets along the way. This is not to be confused with the control tether that Glitch can use later to take over some bots and you play as the taken over bot, but within a certain physical range. In other sections, you will be in a vehicle either driving, manning the gun, or just plain racing the clock. There 3 or 4 vehicles you will use in various missions. The audio and voice acting is quite enjoyable. There are cut scenes that explain the story as you go. The enemy bots are practically as entertaining as Covenant grunts. And then there are the physical puzzles. You will be frequently in an area that you have to figure out how to get out of, or progress through. I never played a game that made me think so hard on how to get from point A to point B. The levels are huge and varied and the graphics are amazing. My only minor peeve is when panning quickly the picture will break slightly in the middle, but other than that, it's something that has to be seen to be believed. If you want an amazing, varied, and challenging shooter, you won't miss the lack of blood at all in the game. It's an excellent choice for younger players for that reason as well.
