It's great to see were the Blue Bomber started, and what ideas didn't made up for latter titles

User Rating: 7.5 | Rockman NES
As a big Mega Man fan myself, i was always wondering how was the original entry of Megaman on the video game world. After playing it in the Mega Man Collection, i felt satisfied and hope to comeback and replay it, but it has some flaws that are hard to be overlooked.

GRAPHICS:
Mega Man graphics were incredible for the time but the backgrounds don't have a lot of personality.4/5

SOUND:
The music was also great for its time, but not as memorable like the latter entries.4/5

GAMEPLAY AND STORY:
The game is a non-linear action game. You have to go though 6 stages, defeat in each one its boss and grab its power up and at last defeat the evil Dr. Wily. The concept was revolutionary for the time, as a concept never heard when it was released. The concept went along for all the numeric sequels and the X series, but a major difference from this one is that all others have 8 bosses, and this one has only 6, which isn't necesarily a bad thing. The biggest problem with the game is the difficulty, because the controls are a little slipery, the knock back from enemies is bigger than from other games and enemies don't blink when hit, so it can be pretty hard to tell if your attack is affecting of not it.3/5

OVEALL:
If you are a long time fan of the series, be sure to give a shot on this game, and people not very in deep with the series will also enjoy the game.
