Megaman Zero has lost its roots.

This is the fourth installment of the Megaman Zero saga. Although similar it is very different. Instead of the Shield boomerang and recoil rod with the Z-Knuckle. Now instead of having only a few weapon to choose from you can steal the enemy's weapon to use. Although some it may sound cool it really isn't. The Next new addition is the part creator. As you defeat your enemies they may drop a part. As you get parts you can then create them to make armor. This gets really gets annoying trying to make a successful armor piece. It takes around fifteen to make your first armor piece, if you are lucky. It may take longer of shorter. The weather system is also new. When you are on normal mode (not easy or hard) you can choose to make the level easier or harder on what weather you choose. If you make the stage harder will get the Ex Skill from the boss. That’s right you no longer have to strive for perfection to get an S rank. In fact you really don't need to worry about rank except for bragging rights. Then finally there is the Cyber Fairies. In this game you no longer need to find each Cyber Fairies any more. You start out with one and as you feed it Energy Crystals you get an additional power that you will remember from the past games. The game is pretty much the same game except for the small differences. You can go throughout the game in about one hour and thirty minutes. It is a short and very easy game (even on hard mode.) It lost all the elements that made the Zero Saga fun. Where is the challenge, where is the originality? If anything if you must play this game rent it or borrow it from a friend. You may like it.
