Complete change of pace for X, but it's done pretty well. You just have to see it as an RPG, not a Megaman game.

At first, you might think, "Why did i decide to play this? It's so awkward.", but after a little bit of time, it gets ridiculously addictive. There are those moments where you get so frustrated because of the never ending random battles, but after a while, you just run rather than deal with it. It's not dificult, but the occasional boss battle can be long and tiring. The graphics aren't super impressive, but they hold up decently. The problem i had with the game is that the voice acting can be a bit bad at times, but not often. The characters are interesting. But the one party member you eventually get is next to useless. Once you get them, you'll know who i mean. It is a pretty long game, but after a little while, it all gets kinda easy. If you don't run from every fight, you should dain enough experience to take down every opponent after a certain point. It actually gets pretty simple. It's a hard game to describe, but it is pretty fun. I was addicted from the instant i bought it. Hopefully you will be too.
