Megaman has been around since the nes era of gaming. The series of game has been release on the Playstation 1 and 2 continusly. On the Playstation 2, "Megaman X7, X8, was made in 3D which ruin the whole foumal of the Megaman series. In "Megaman Maverick Hunter X" the game is in 3D as well, but it does not ruin any gameplay and is as soild as ever. I am not sure but I think it is a remake of one of the past Megaman games. Megaman Maverick Hunter X is the same old megaman, nothing new expect for its on the psp. The game is pretty fun once you get past the of wishing you had more life when fighting a boss with 3 times as much hp as you. The graphics of the game is okay but not great, it is in 3D but nothing special, if the game was in 2D is would have been the same, the loading times are short and there is only lag when there is a lot going on on screen.
I would give this game a rental because it would not take you a long time to finsih through the story mode, after the story, there isn't anything to do expect to play as Megaman's enemy, "Vile." Playing as Vile is a little fun but does not keep your attention for a very long. The extras in this game is spectacular, Even though the only extra is seeing a movie, it is great. When you buy this game/rent, remember, you will get a game "AND" movie.
