A souped up version of an old classic. Plus, getting to take control of vile is freaking sweet.
this game plays just like all the other megaman games in the series. shocker, i know. however it wont let you down if you're a fan of the series.
the bosses are pretty much the same, and Sigma is still the same brand of impossible to kill (unless you have the hadoken thats a one hit kill...) and cheap.
getting to play as Vile is a wonderful addition, as is the ability to customise his moves.
GRAPHICS: 8/10
the 3D models instead of sprites are a welcome revision. things have the same feel as the old Megaman X, only, streamlined here. i think the models help immerse you into the game more.
SOUND: 7/10
The sound in Megaman maverick hunters X is pretty much the same as the old (but better quality of course.) ON X's PART
Viles music is definately way cooler, in that its metal guitar. theres only one drawback to that, that is no matter what maverick's stage you're in its THE SAME SONG. SAME. YEH. it gets annoying to say the least.
VALUE: 9/10
with a twenty dollar price tag, this wont set you back too much, and is a good deal. you will walk out of the store with a cheerful disposition.

if you're a fan of the series at all, or just feel like owning some mavericks, pick this one up.
