8 great games worthy of a spot in any avid gamer's collection.

This anniversary collection is a dream for any of the blue bomber's loyal followers. Most of these games are actually pretty difficult, but the collection doesn't make things too hard on you by saving at critical moments. The graphics are pretty outdated, but I'm glad they didn't overhaul things because it truly allows you to experience some old-school Mega Man. The sound is great, and it will probably bring back a lot of memories for older gamers. The controls are good, but it is always annoying making it 3/4 of the way through a level and losing your last life at a near-impossible jump.
These games would fit well with anyone that is looking for some good, fun, 2D side-scrolling action. If you are not into that sort of thing, I would not recommend buying this game, but I would still recommend borrowing it or renting it. The unlockable content is cool (although the bonus arcade games are pretty bad). If you can appreciate good classic fun, go get this game right now. If you would rather stick with the Dantes and Jaks of the new age, this game probably is not for you.
