I guess I'm pretty lucky that I never really got around to really playing "Mega Man III" back in the days when it was originally available for the NES. If I had, I might have given up on gaming all together. This game is HARD with a capital H, and the games "Mega Man I, II," and "Mega Man 9" are supposed to be even harder! This is one game where you're DEFINITELY going to want to remember what various passwords are in order to get through the different stages! But even the hardest game is not without its perks. This game has some pretty cool graphics and music for only being an 8-bit game that was released on the NES, while the stages and minor enemies themselves aren't too challenging, its some of the bosses themselves that can prove to be a REAL headache! My advice: start with Top Man, than Snake Man, than Magnet Man, than Hard Man, than Needle Man, than Gemini Man, than Spark Man, than Shadow Man. If those 8 bosses aren't enough, the bosses from "Mega Man II," (Quick Man, Metal Man, Heat Man, Bubble Man, Wood Man, Air Man, Crash Man, and Flash Man) return for an encore performance in an attempt to make mincemeat out of the blue bomber. While there are energy capsules, power capsules, Extra lives, and Energy tanks to help you out, you're going to want to try to save the Energy tanks for the bosses that you face up against, because it's then and there where you'll really need them the most! If you want a big challenge and you want to go retro, its hard to go wrong with "Mega Man III!" It's a challenging game, but its well worth it for the accomplished gamer! 8) Enough said, true believers! ;)
