Medal of Honor Frontline is a great game, but isn't without a few problems.

Medal of Honor Frontline is a FPS for the Xbox. You play as James Patterson. The game takes place during the later years of the war and includes a memorable D-Day level. During Frontline, you will be moving behind enemy lines, taking out vital resources, saving lost agents, and many other things to hassle the Nazi war machine. You spend a lot of the time on your own, which means you have to do a lot of sneaking around. Almost more like... a spy. Yes, this is my biggest problem with not only Frontline, but the entire Medal of Honor series. I thought in these kind of games you were supposed to be surrounded by allies, taking cover in trenches and craters and storming bunkers. Not here. Here you get to sneak onto a U-Boat, plant charges and then evade the Germans as you make your escape. Where are all the great memorable scenes you would find in a Call of Duty game? One other problem is the lack of checkpoints. If you die, you go back to the beginning of the level. There is one level where at the end, you most jump of the balcony into a cart of hay. I thought I was just supposed to jump, so I died and had to do the whole level over. To be fair, this is the first of it's kind on what once was a next gen system. Let's talk about the good qualities this game has, which far outweighs the bad. The game is just all around fun. It has the classic "run and gun" action we have all come to love over the years. There are moments of tension where you have little health left, and you're not sure if you are going to make it. Good stuff. The graphics are pretty good for it's time. The sound is also good, all the weapons sound pretty nice. Well, Frontline isn't perfect, but it is a worthy addition to your Xbox collection.
