A great but really short game.

Medal of Honor Airborne is the latest game on the long running WWII shooter series Medal of Honor, while the game manage to impress with it's great campaign but sadly too short. The game have a lot of problems to install, what's common on EA games that aren't The Sims.
After you can install you will see how great the game is, it could be better, easily, a longer campaign and a deeper multiplayer would be helped but impressive graphics and some new gameplay elements make this game easy to reccomend for anyone that like first person shooters and aren't sick off world war 2, i really love world war 2, i have films, a lot of games and other things, but that doesn't metter.

It was a really impressive game for 2007 but no anti-aliasing option togheter with less than impressive granade explosions keep this game from getting a 10.
Sound: 10.0
Impressive soundtrack as always in the series, nice gunshots and voice acting, for the italians, germans and americans too.
Gameplay: 9.0
Every level you drop from the skies in a parachoote, there are endless possibilities of where you can land, you can try to land on a safe possition marked with green smoke, try to land on a roof and snipe your enemies, or, you can try to land right in the middle of the battle ending your promissing carrer as a private first class.
In this game there are weapon upgrades, all of then are very realistic, all of then really happened in real life. You will see your standart M1 Thompson getting a pistol grip, more ammo capacity turning into a infamous Chicago Tipewriter, your shotgun can get a bayonet and things like that. It's strange at first but you will sure enjoy it.
The game isn't as intense as call of duty but the enemy AI is pretty good and will keep you playing. One thing i have to complay is that there is a enemy that is so ridicolous that i won't even say here i don't want to spoil your experience but i will give you a tip: he wears a gas mask and can take 3 headshots.
Fun: 10.0
shooting nazis is always fun, but when we got nice graphics and sound, weapon upgrades, intense action, slow motion and a enemy that looks more like a mini boss and a decent multiplayer you will sure enjoy it.
Replay: 7.0
Only 6 levels... But they are so huge and no linear that you will want to finish the campaign over and over. We also have a decent multiplayer, good luck trying to find a server.

While not as succesfull as Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Frontline that still takes a space in gamers heart, EA manages to make a great new world war 2 shooter that manage to make we care about medal of honor again. Back in 2002 Medal of Honor was the best shooter series of the time, after the creation of call of duty the series began to slowly fall until the point it was almost ignored. Now things are starting to get better. Be sure to get this game or at least rent it, now please EA i want a new Medal of Honor!
