Mech Assault provides highly addictive multiplayer action. Before Halo 2, this was the game. I played this with friends for such a long time, it is truely one of the best games ever, an instant classic. The gameplay in Mech Assault is terrific, very rarely faulty. The graphics are good, nothing special, but definitely not bad. The sound effects from the gun shots and explosions are pretty good. Mech Assault 2 has been released and with that, the price of the original has gone down. As far as the value of the game, the game is definitely worth it for the price and if you are looking to play online, enough people still play to do that. I really enjoyed this game and would recommend it to anyone.
