Maximo vs. Army of Zin follows Maximo and the Grim Reaper on their quest to find Maximo's love, Sophia. But when mechanical monsters arrive, Sophia takes the backseat for Maximo to unravel the secrets of the Army of Zin. Maximo 2 has more action, more powers, less platforming frustration, and ultimately more fun than Maximo : Ghosts to Glory. The graphics really could use some work, the controls are a little clunky at times, and the difficulty is awfully high. An easier difficulty setting might have been appreciated. Life might not be fair, but I certainly expect my games to be. The main drawback is the length. Despite the fact that Maximo is hard as all hell, you'll be finished with it in no time. Let's hope that the upcoming Maximo 3 can fix that problem. Good rental, but not much more.
