When Bioware sells out to the action gamers, you get Mass Effect 2.

I had a feeling I wasn't going to like this one, and I was right. I loved Mass Effect, it was an amazing roleplaying game. Mass Effect 2 is not a roleplaying game, I don't care what anyone says. Mass Effect 2 has taken on a mission based game, instead of the original's sense of exploration and quest taking. No more inventory screen, you have to change equipment on the ship before you leave, and it seemed like the only thing I found in safes, and stuff was credits. Instead of your gun just overheating, you have ammunition now, so if you run out, you're screwed unless you can find some more. When you enter shoot mode, I couldn't find anyway to exit it. That might not bother some people, but it irritated the crap out of me. Its like you have to shoot here, you have to walk here, thats stinks, it just makes it feel like a lame action game. To sum this up, If you don't mind your game changing genres on you, You'll probaly love this game. If you love roleplaying games, and you haven't played Mass Effect yet, play the first one, don't listen to the hype! If you love roleplaying games and you loved the awesomeness that was the first game, do not bother with this one. I finally decided to play it after so long, and I'm glad I rented it. Unless they add in a lot of the old stuff from the first one when they make 3, I won't be playing it either. I guess its just a matter of why change something that was so awesome. I honestly can't understand why this game has such amazing scores, did any of these people play the original?
