Good time waster, if you can TOTALLY look past the repetition gameplay.

User Rating: 6.5 | Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects PSP
Firstly, Marvel Nemesis would be a blast to play if it's in the $10 bin. Anything dearer than that, please don't even consider it, even if you're a Marvel fan. This is due to the seriously low gameplay value if you're looking for a story or a satisfying campaign and Marvel Nemesis offers none if you don't even bother to read the text (which casually explains why you're fighting).

So, if you're looking for a brainless button masher, this is a rather good choice. Though the game lets you fight a standard order of enemies every time, the only consolation is that you get to unlock a new character to fight each time you complete a cycle. For me, probably the only things I enjoy the gruelling battles is to finally get to read the intro text of the characters you unlock (ha...), and for players familiar with Marvel Trading Card Game, this game does introduce trading cards sort of feature to add on to your character's power, where every fight you won garners a random card. Also, if you like the idea, the cards have a certain color or character name code that can "combine" in your power list to unlock a special ability or effect, which provides another reason to look past the mindless fights.
