I was kinda surprised when I first heard of this game. I was anxious to find out how it was gonna be. I must say, this is a rather fun game to play. You play as mario in a old donkey kong style of gameplay where you jump and climb vines and collect items and such. You also have a couple of new jump moves where you can do a handstand into a jump and also a flip jump. This game starts off rather easy but in the later levels can be pretty challenging. Nintendo has always been known to make fun, imaginitive games and Mario vs Donkey Kong holds true to that. If your looking for a truly fun platformer game, Mario vs Donkey Kong is one of the better ones available for the GBA.
