Personally I never liked tennis myself. I didn't know the rules and the concept of tennis, but Mario tennis changed that. Since I never liked tennis I never wanted to get this game, but my friend actually thought it was really good, so I decided to try it out. After I start playing, in a few minutes I already learn the rules and the concept of tennis, and see that its actually a great sport. I never knew I would have been this attracted to the game. Anyways the gameplay is pretty straight forward. You can either play in singles or doubles or play tournaments for the championship. There are also special stages such as the Bowser stage and the Ring stage. As you play you'll eventually unlock new characters and extra stages. I really prefer playing multiplayer which up to four players could play. Every time you get a point it does an automatic instant replay for that point, which looks pretty awesome. The graphics are good like any ordinary N64 game, and the sound is great too. Surprisingly you'll learn how to play quicker than you think even if you don't understand tennis. I had a blast with this game and still do. One word to describe this game: ROCKS! I highly guarantee that whoever loves Mario or tennis will have a fantastic time with this game!!!
