A notable upgrade over Super Mario Strikers, Charged is maybe the best Mario sports game. There are more captains to play as and unlock and each has a unique skillset. The biggest upgrade here though is the side kicks of which there is a bigger selection and each having a unique special shot that completely changes the game for the better. This game also has a better and deeper tournament mode which presents just the right amount of challenge. The ability to play 4 players on one team is also welcome.
