An underappreciated Mario game that is fun with many unlockables, but still needs to fix a few things.
Mario Sports Mix is a game when Mario and friends get together and play 4 classic sports. Although it needs to fix a few things. Is a fun game with many unlockables and more!
THE GOOD:
Dodgeball: Now this is my FAVORITE sport in the game BY FAR! It's just plain fun.
Hockey: Hockey is pretty good like other people say.
Volleyball: Volleyball is actually surprizingly good despite what most people say.
Unlockables: This game has many unlockables, there are many characters and stages to unlock.
Party Games: Now I don't know why, but I really enjoy the party games.
Sound: The sound in this game is amazing! exspecially on the Volleyball party game and some stages like Koopa Troopa Beach.
Power-ups and Coins: Power-ups and Coins in this game make the game much better. Imagine if this game didn't, then it wouldn't be as much fun, huh?
Online Mode: Online Mode is also pretty good exspecially if you think the computers are too easy.
THE BAD:
Basketball: Now I HAVE NO IDEA WHY PEOPLE THINK THIS SPORT IS THE BEST!!! Its just a boring sport.
Automatic Jumping: In Basketball and Dodgeball, the game sometimes makes my characters jump without even moving my wii remote. I know how to stop it (Press A) but still it gets annoying sometimes.
Characters: All the characters you unlock in this game are Final Fastasy or Dragon Age characters. Seriously, you put those characters in instead of classic characters like Shy Guy and Goomba?
Touranment Mode: Touranment Mode does get boring sometimes and frusturating when you lose a match.
OVERALL: 8.5
Despite having to fix a few things, this is a fun game. If you are a Mario fan or a Sports Game fan this is a buy, but if your anything else, you might wanna rent this game first just in case you don't like it.
