Great Multiplayer, not for single player really.

User Rating: 8 | Mario Party 7 GC
Gameplay: Incredibly fun with other people, not so much agains the CPU though. My biggest complaint of this game is the tedious instructions you have to scroll through and wast your time with. I reckon its good for learning the board games and minigames the first time around, but its too much and takes away from the game IMHO. Super Smash Bros. has about as many different options as this, but you dont see that game bogging you down with tedious instructions on all of it. :-P ... anyway, the minigames are great fun to play w/ your friends, by just going to the minigames section, or playing the board game too. the board games are the main way to play this game, and again, are fun with your friends, not so much against the CPU. it is basically like playing a Mario version of Monopoly on your TV screen. So it has its Mario style twists and turns to it, which make it interesting. The competitive minigames involved also keep the action going, GRRR, its just the tedious speech bogged down between each event. :-P Graphics: not bad, right where it should be. not as polished as other Mario games, but the emphasis of this game is on the simplicity of the minigames. Still very colorful and mario style though. Sound: cute, but can get repetitive at times.

Value: LOTS of minigames, great for multiplayer fun, and lots of options, unlockables, and gameplay modes. Not quite worth the original 50 dollar price tag though, which should be much lower by now. Tilt: this is still a classic for good friendly and family fun. Since its the only Mario Party game i ever played, my score doesnt reflect the alleged lack of originality compared to other Mario Party games, like the GS review. The addition of the microphone is pretty cool too.
