The good parts of this game is the new mini-games, they are really good and a lot to keep every one playing till the last turn. The new day and night system is inbcredable, different minigames are affected by what time is it for example, there is a minigame called "what goes up" when it is daytime, you go up as far as you can and when it is nighttime, you fall down from 100 yards and see who can land first while avoiding obstacles. The capsule system (which got turned into orbs is still good, but i think its not as a good as the capsule system. There are many playable characters in this game to choose from, and even a new character "toadette". The new "mic" feature is really nice and unique and also one of the more interesting things i have seen, the modes you use the mic in are really nice and also are the mic minigames, you can do a quiz show with the mic. The bad things about the game is of course with all mario parties, it is torture to play by yourself, if you get 2 or more friends to play, then you are getting the most out of this game. On some boards, whenever day turns to night or vise-versa, it can get hectic, in clockwork tower, whenever night comes, DK turns into bowser and chases you down and if he catches you, he steals a star from you and that can change the positions really fast. The mic sometimes wont read what your saying even if you are saying it clearly, i also dont like how you plug-in the mic, you use a memory card space. Overall, i think its one of the best mario parties out there and its a breath of fresh air from mario party 5.

This game is just plain fun. With the new characters, new modes, new places, new mini-games. It's just plain great. The single player will keep you occupied for a while, but the multiplayer is where the fun really begins... Read Full Review
