Mario Kart Double Dash!! is a great addition to the Mario Kart franchise, and is one of the best Gamecube games.
Levels are great
Much better controls than Mario Kart 64 (even though Mario Kart 64 had good control).
Bad:
If the Gamecube and this game had online play, this game would be much more fun to play (but without, Double Dash is a great racer).
Mario Kart Double Dash!! is fun to play, but after you've beaten all the cups (Mushroom, Flower, Star and Special cups), the game can get a little boring.
The graphics are good, the characters look good, and the tracks are greatly detailed.
The sound is good. On all the tracks, there is some old music from older Nintendo games, and there's some new music on the other courses.
The control is great, the analog stick is a lot easier to use than it was to use the N64 control stick, while playing Mario Kart 64.
In conclusion, Mario Kart Double Dash!! is a great racer, and if you own a Gamecube (or a Wii, and have a Gamecube controller, and a memory card to save your progress (but a memory stick isn't required to save your game) ). And if you don't already own Mario Kart Double Dash!!, it's definitely worth buying.
