If you loved the first 2 games, then you are in for a treat!

User Rating: 9.5 | Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! DS
If you loved the first 2 Mario and Luigi titles, "SuperStar Saga" and "Partners in Time", then you are going to love this one.

"Bowser's Inside Story" feature the Mario Bros. back in action as they attempted to find out what was causing the "Blorbs" in the Mushroom Kingdom, which were causing Toads to puff up like balloons, but at the same time, were sucked into Bowser's Body, trying to find a way out and saving Princess Peach. This was Mario and Luigi's Biggest Adventure yet!

In this game, you can play as Mario, Luigi, AND Bowser for the first time in the Mario and Luigi Series. The Bowser gameplay was excellent. He was mapped to buttons X and Y while Mario and Luigi are A (Mario) and B (Luigi). From Punching to breathing fire, Bowser was really well done.

The Battles got even better. The Action Moves are now more in-depth than they were in the last games. You had to time your moves just right to get an effective hit. The Mario Bros use the same kind of Special items they used in the last game, Partners in Time, but, in my opinion, they are WAY better and funnier in this game than the last one. Instead of buying the items, Mario and Luigi each have Special Points (Similar to Bro Points in the first game). Bowser uses his minions for Special Attacks; whenever he uses his minions in battles, you can use the Touch Screen to pull off some great moves, instead of buttons, which I thought was great. Of course, the battles use both the Top Screen and Touch Screen.

Speaking of battles, there are also HUGE battles featuring a Giant Bowser. You have to turn your DS Sideways like a book and fight. I must say, that was one of my favorite parts of the game. It was just so innovated and tight. The Microphone was very responsive whenever you had to blow fire.

There are also mini-games within the games. I am not going to spoil much, but there are a few that are quite innovative and uses the DS's features very well.

Unlike the last game, this one isn't linear. It comes close to SuperStar Saga than Partners in Time. There are plenty of places to explore.

The Story itself is very humorous. You will definitely find some comedy in this game.

With all this said, I highly recommend "Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story" if you enjoyed the first two games or if you like RPGs. This is a must have. You will enjoy it. It's a very long game so you don't have to worry about it being short. I hope they continue with this series, because it's very humorous and has great gameplay.
