Manhunt is one brutal game, and a hell of a lot of fun to play. I found the gamespot review to be a little too negative. The game is a challenge, no doubt about it, and that is a good thing, not a bad thing. The AI is spot on as well. Enemies move about and react in a very realistic manner for their situation, and I noticed that a few times in a one on one fight, that if I beat the enemy enough, he would get scared and try to run away from me. I could chase him down and kill him then before he blew my cover (which contrary to what Gamespot wrote has happened to me a few times). It doesn't really have much in the way of story though, and that's too bad since the story is so original and full of potential. To be brief, Manhunt is really a great game, and a bit more oldschool than most people are used to. It has extreme violence represented in a very realistic way, great sound and voice acting, great atmosphere, and most importantly, great, brutal, unforgiving gameplay.
