After this year's release I'm starting to wonder what goes on at 2K when they're supposed to building this game...

If you played last year's version, you won't be missing much if you take a pass on this year. The only thing major that is noticeable are the graphics, they do look cleaner than 2k10 but that's the last thing 2K needs to be worrying about. I bought this game because of I'm a die-hard baseball fan and have bought many of 2k's previous baseball games (wasn't a huge fan, but as an Xbox owner your options are limited---- to this). There's not much I can say about this game, because honestly the only thing to compare it to is on a different platform, and I'm not about to cross review. But if you have played The Show, you will be very upset with this game. Let me guide you through an average game, my current franchise is honing the reigns on the Philadelphia Phillies. I'm 3 years in, so I'm starting to lose some of my veteran players, not from retirement, but from trades (I don't want Jimmy Rollins on the team if he is dropping in performance, get a nice trade while I can). Needless to say, my team is pretty good. I believe the overall rating is 96- but we're not that great (sim wise). We've only been in playoffs once and lost first round to Brewers. I sim because I'm not playing every other game where the results are me 20, them 0. It's not even fun, and if I do want some competition by kicking up the skill level the game then turns in their favor and pitches are much harder to hit and when you do make contact you're lucky if it gets down in the outfield or out of the infield... A poor game approach from 2k this year, yet again. I'll give them one more chance before I have to make a crucial decision on where my money goes...
