I loved the original Majesty and was so glad they came out with new games. While there were a few things that I missed from the old game, they made some great improvements, such as the defend and fear flags, the Hall of Champions, and the ability to group heroes into teams. Of course, the graphics are much better. I have been busy and did not even realize they had released new quests. I bought them as soon as the semester was over and then read about how impossibly hard the Battles of Ardania was. So I geared myself up to be frustrated and disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while the quests were challenging and one of them pretty difficult, they were not impossible. A little patience and a lot of strategy made for fun game play.
I liked all the new quests but I like the Battles of Ardania better than Monster Kingdom. It all comes down to a matter of personal preference.
If you like easily won games that are over quickly this is not for you. If you like a challenge and don't mind starting over a few times and trying different strategies, you will enjoy this game and definitely get your money's worth which is not easy to find anymore.
