One Of The Hardest Platform Games That I Have Played From Neo Geo So Far!

One of the biggest reasons why I'm buying, trying, playing, and hopefully trying to beat so many video games that originally came out on the Neo Geo Video Game Console, is because I (along with probably many other video game enthusiasts), never had the money or the means to buy the ACTUAL Neo Geo Video Game Console while it was still available to buy in Video Game stores (not that I ever saw one of those consoles available in any video game store I ever went to). One of the main themes that I have noticed that continually pops up in these video games that originally came out for the Neo Geo and Arcade Systems, is just how HARD they tend to be! I don't know for a fact that if someone were to compile a list of the Top 20 hardest 16 bit video games, at least 90% of them would be FROM the Neo Geo Video Game Console, but I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be too hard to do! And it would be pretty believable, to! This video game is no exception! Even for a LAUNCH title for the Neo Geo Video Game Console, this game is as hard as a good number of other Neo Geo Video games are! While the name of the game does indeed, promise magic and delivers; the game feels less like a polished Harry Potter, and more like Neville Longbottom BEFORE he became any good at magic! While the music, sound, and controls are all pretty good for this video game, the unrelenting supply of enemies that pop up to impede your progress, will frustrate you to no end! You only get three hit points (which in some cases, will disappear pretty fast!) Now theoretically, you can find transformation spells which allow you to take two more hits and will make you stronger, but you probably won't get to enjoy them for long before you lose the transformation! Oddly enough, some of the mini-bosses and regular bosses you fight in this game, are actually EASIER to face than some of the grueling stages you have to go through to face them! But the real reason this game still gets a good score, is because even by 1991 standards, this game has one of the best video game graphics for a 16 bit video game that I have ever seen. So, if you want to see where Neo Geo got its start, this is a video game you should try playing at least once! Just don't expect an easy quest! Enough said, true believers!
