M.A.G. is just another FPS even if it is online only. But despite this, somehow it does have something worth buying it.
The reason I recommend this game is this: Online co-op with lots of people. Its really satisfying playing as a team and helping your fellow soldiers complete all the objectives. Keeping them alive and working as a group is something no other game really tries to offer first hand. A very satisfying experience that only M.A.G. goes out of its way to offer.
Graphics:
For a FPS, its not a great looking game. Not bad by any means, but there are a lot better looking games out there. Its understandable though as you can have up to 256 online players running around at once. So the focus is more on smooth gameplay than on graphics. And this doesn't really take away from the experience of the game anyway.
Sound:
Not too bad. Again like the graphics, its good without being great. Enough said.
Gameplay:
First of all the controls are not great. Maybe I'm so used to MW2 that its hard to adjust. But the controls seem to be a little clunky for me. It doesn't feel as sharp and accurate as some other shooters. On the upside, working with team mates, keeping them going to complete objects and managing your weapons of choice and the style of play that you like is what this game is trying to get at. And it does it well. Team work with good tactics goes a long way to enjoying this game. Also with many options to choose and more that open up as the you progress, makes this into a mini RPG as well.
Cons:
Slightly clunky controls. It takes a lot of getting used to. Playing with team members that run off all the time can really hinder your success, so that can be annoying. This game takes a while to get used to. There are smoother and better looking FPS's out there.
Pros:
But non that offer such integration of team work and tactics. Playing as a team really adds to the bonding experience. It is a very rewarding and satisfying experience if you hang in there, despite the slightly awkward controls.
