I loved this game, but it is not without some MINOR setbacks.

Alright, so first off I love the detail in this game. You can tell they really wanted you to feel like you were in the 1950's Mafia. First off, me being a car nut. I love how every car was real, and a pun off of the originals. Such as the really rare Tuckers that are driving around. The era correct music/buildings/clothing/gangs, etc. The story is also very in depth, with great acting. You'll feel like you're in the Mafia in this game, with all kinds of great missions to do. The Graphics are also amazing, and the opening scene will blow you away. This game has twists that are not easily guessed, followed by cool collectables.

DRAWBACKS-
Even though this game is great, I cannot say I'm not disapointed in the "free-roaming" Although you can do what ever you want, it is during missions, AND if you die, you LOSE all progress until you last checkpoint. Which, is at the last main point you did in a mission. This is very frustrating. "free-roaming" lacks things to do, sure you can rob a store, buy clothes, lightly modify your cars. But it is no GTA, where you can just roam and tear crap up for hours. No side missions.

I would say it's a rental only, only because I can't see someone wanting to really go back it they beat the game already.
