Much improved animations, run game and overall graphics make this worth getting. Tom Hammond commentary is bad as usual.

User Rating: 8 | Madden NFL 10 X360
Overall this is a fun and accessible football game worth picking up. It looks really good in 1080P and is headed in the right direction for art direction and presentation. If they keep developing in this direction in the next few year it will be ready for competition when EA's exclusive contract for NFL games ends.

Graphics and Presentation:
++Much improved graphics and animations. Tackling is well done as well as all the lighting and textures. Also many of the rough spots from '09 have been fixed.
+Collinsworth is good and rolls smoothly for the most part.
+Presentation menus etc. are fairly good with a more realistic styling.
+Good idea and execution for halftime and weekly game summaries for the most part. With the addition of video snapshots during recaps it would be really close to being just right.
+Great weather effects and affects on the teams.

-Tom Hammond is horrible or really the recording crew/director for recording his sessions did a bad job. His voice is not smooth and for play by play we should hear more from him so the most time should have been spent getting him done right.
-The animations are slightly jerky/abnormal at times but not so much it detracts from the overall quality of the game. At least the center grabbing the ball at the beginning of a play is fixed (watch an '09 play to see the issues)
-Slightly too many ref debates on touchdowns and other items but not that bad.

Game Play:
++Smooth and fun running game
+More realistic feel in terms of game speed (animations, switching directions etc.)
+CPU Pass defense seems more realistic. They jump routes and blow coverage if they are afraid of a running QB.
+Really good players feel like really good players compared to past years where there was not as much of a distinction in good players and great players.

-/+Gameplay simplified... can be a good or bad thing depending on person but removing some of the complexity in controls helps normal gamers while detracting for avid/pro gamers. They should have just made it an option to have dumbed down controls.

These are just some comments on two aspects of the game and there is of course much much more.
