The most underappreciated game I've played in a while

User Rating: 8 | Mad Max XONE

Audio:
Fantastic voice work by the cast that really helps bring the world to life. Good sound track and sound effects as well, Which are also key in the Mad Max world.

Visuals:
I think the game looks quite good compared to other open worlds. Reminds me a bit of Shadow of Mordor with the kind of repetitive looking environments but it still looks great and there hasn't really been an issue with bugs or glitches either for me.

Game Play:
The vehicle part of the game play is fun. I loved fighting against other vehicles and the driving is smooth and easy to get use to. The melee could have been a bit tighter, Reminds me of a cross between Uncharted and Arkham Asylum. It's satisfying though so that's a good thing.

Other:
Very big open world with a lot of stuff to do so be prepared to sink in many hours into this game. Missions can get a bit repetitive and boring. Would have been nice to see more characters and back story/dialogue added into the game. The game gets rather easy once you started maxing out your gear and leveling up, Almost a cake walk really. Customization in this game is massive, From maxing out skills/gear to upgrading your vehicles, There's always something to change and it's a really impressive aspect of the game. You more than get your money's worth in content.

Overall: 8/10
What I love about Mad Max is that it provides a very rich and fulfilling single player experience. It's the game of game you could sink 60 hours into and even then there's still gonna be something to do. The wide variety of customization, The insanely fun vehicle combat (I still laugh when harpooning an enemy from his vehicle and launching him in the air) and the great open world it provides. Get this game, Seriously.
