A Game Only a fan could love

First things first, if your not one of Lupin's fans, stop reading and go find something else to play. Being one of Lupin's fans, I had high hopes for a game starring the master thief and his gang. How is it? Somewhat disapointing but not a total letdown.

The game captures the style of Lupin and his cohorts extremely well. The gameplay is fundimentally solid and shows off the style of the show well (rather than killing people, Lupin knocks them out with a frying pan) and hides around using disguises (Including Zenigata) and has to solve crazy puzzles in order to proceed. As I mentioned, the gameplay is solid, just not perfect and stumbles sometimes. Example, having the same police officer asking for your salute move to keep your cover, EVERY 2 SECONDS!

The game lets you play certain levels as Jigen or Goemon, but Goemon's sections are boring. Just hold attack and watch people run into the sword, while Jigen's are much more fun, using his pistol to blast everything in sight. The camera in this game is utter garbage and traps you in corners. This game means well but lacks polish in a lot of areas. A non Lupin fan won't bother to put up with it. If your a fan of Lupin like me, you will still have plenty of fun with this game.
