It's Still The Same After All These Years...

User Rating: 8 | Lunar Ball NES
The first time I played Lunar Pool was back in the late 80's when it was made for the original NES console. Recently, I have had the chance to play it again--and it hasn't changed a bit!

The great thing is that it brought back some nostalgia to a person who still loves video games and remembering the fun I had back then. The negative thing is that some of the controls are a little quirky, but you can easily just ignore and have fun with the game.

It is not very hard to figure out how to play this game. My 9 year old did it in less than 5 minutes. The re-playability is still there as I sat for a while playing as did my children. Later on, we wanted to play again.

If you are looking for a fun pool game with kind of an intergalatic twist (some of the tables look like they belong in space), check out this game. There are over 60 tables, adjustable friction, and just a fun "non-shoot 'em up" game that you can play with your family.
