Lumines is a puzzle game that you match four blocks of the same color to earn points and advance to the next level. The game has different play modes such as challenge, puzzle, vs., and one and two players. Lumines is easy to pick up and play. It’s not a difficult game but, it’s not easy either.
The music is one of the key elements to this game and will stay in your head long after you play, which is a good thing.
The backgrounds are colorful and vivid and can sometimes be a bit distracting. I think this is what makes this game so addictive. Completing a new level is exciting because you unlock new skins, and new characters.
Lumines’ game play is in every sense as addictive as Tetris. At a bargain price of $19.99 you get the best puzzle bang for your buck.
If you even remotely care about puzzles games, then you need to check this one out.
